God is more awesome than the universe, yet made himself worse than a criminal

He was made sin so that sin would be no more, for His mercy endures forever

Accursed so that the curse would be no more, for His mercy ensures forever

And He made the great war cease,

And made angels and demons co-conspirators for man’s salvation,

For His mercy endures forever

For His wisdom was made perfect in foolishness, even the foolishness of the Cross

Be exalted O God above the Heavens,

And let Thy Glory be over all the Earth

For You saved us from the darkness of death,

And granted us the gift of eternal youth in Your name

By Your mighty power, continue to walk with us and illumine our darkness,

For You alone are the Light that shines in the darkness,

That the darkness could not comprehend

And by the power of Your Body and Blood,

May our graces increase for the ascent of our miserable souls

And the healing of our corrupt flesh
